Wiseby Design is a small, independent design service focused on helping individuals turn ideas and problems into practical solutions.

I offer CAD design, product development, modifications and 3D printing for private customers who need something designed, adapted or repaired — without the cost and complexity of working with a large engineering consultancy.

Whether you have an idea for a new product, need a replacement part that is no longer available, or simply need to solve a practical problem, I can help take it from an idea to a physical, usable result.

From idea to reality

Using modern CAD tools and 3D printing technology, I can design and produce custom parts and prototypes tailored to your needs.

This could be anything from:

Designing a completely new product or component Recreating a broken or missing part Modifying an existing design Creating custom brackets, housings, adapters or fixtures Developing prototypes before committing to more expensive manufacturing Producing small quantities of custom parts Helping turn sketches and ideas into manufacturable 3D models

A small business with a practical approach

As an independent freelancer, I can work on smaller projects that may not make sense for a traditional engineering company.

You don’t need to arrive with a finished specification or know exactly what you need. Sometimes all you have is a broken part, a rough sketch, a photograph or an idea. We can start there.

I’ll work with you to understand the problem, develop a suitable solution and, when appropriate, produce a prototype or finished part using 3D printing.
